Installing Service Worker on Webflow Site

How to install the service worker on a Webflow website

Step 1.

Create a Cloudflare account and add your domain to the Cloudflare account. You may want to start with 'DNS Only' when first adding your site to reduce potential site issues.

Step 2.

Create a Configuration Rule (Rules > Configuration Rule) in Cloudflare. On this, set the 'Hostname' to your domain (e.g.  Custom Page ) and set the SSL setting to 'Flexible'

Step 3.

Create a CNAME record for your site that points to proxy.webflow.com, keep the proxy orange cloud enabled

Step 4.

Follow worker steps from https://documentation.aimtell.com/hc/en-us/articles/install-with-cloudflare

Note: Switching when you move to cloudflare you need to update nameservers which can take 24 hours and also that misconfigurations can cause sites to experience downtime.
